Introduction
JK Foods is a diverse family owned business with over 45 years heritage of supplying the retail and catering trade. Our aim is to provide our customers with the right products at the best possible prices and to help them meet all their business needs.
The company has grown from a small local market stall, to a £150m turnover food empire. Mark Johal and his father-in-law Mr Khera founded the company with the goal of becoming the UK’s largest importers and distributors of foods from Asia and the Far East.
Today, with three depots in the midlands and an extensive fleet of vehicles, divisions of JK Foods are able to reach the entire length and breadth of the United Kingdom.

1970
Mr Khera set up a local market stall in Nottingham (UK) supplying specialist ethnic products
1976
Mark Johal joined his father in-law Mr Khera, and they founded JK Foods, with the purpose of supplying the Chinese Restaurants and Takeaway market throughout the UK
1981
Rapid expansion led to growth in Wholesale distribution
1992
JK Foods moved to a purpose built site, becoming one of the largest importers and distributors of premium ethnic foods in the UK
1998
Tiger Tiger the brand is born and launched in the UK to meet the growing demand for authentic premium quality ethnic foods
2000
Tiger Tiger’s UK success leads to growth throughout the European Markets
2002
Tiger Tiger is introduced to the USA market
2007
Tiger Tiger is introduced into the Middle Eastern Market

Tiger Tiger launches it’s Frozen Dine In Range of Asian Tapas
